Biography:
Kevin was raised in Baton Rouge, and attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now University of Louisiana at Lafayette). In 1987, he graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Kevin was awarded his Juris Doctorate from the Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans in 1992. In addition to obtaining millions of dollars for his clients for personal injury and workers' compensation claims, Kevin has prosecuted consumer class action cases that have settled for millions of dollars, including In re NASDAQ Market-Makers Antitrust Litigation and In re Mortgage Escrow Deposit Litigation. Kevin has also served as referral counsel for the NFL Player Association, representing injured players of the New Orleans Saints for workers' compensation claims.
Kevin married Angela King, a Lake Charles native, in 1989. They have a son, Carey, and a daughter, Chloe. The family moved from New Orleans to Lake Charles in 1995 when Carey was born, and Kevin began with the firm in 1996.
Kevin and Angie are active in the local arts and humanities community and serve on the boards of several non-profit organizations.
